[origin: JPH0564604A] PURPOSE: To restrain vibration of a table plate and a support base to a minimum value when a shock is exerted to a height adjustable table at an edge part of the table plate in a crosswise direction. CONSTITUTION: A height adjustable table is composed of at least one stationary frame part 4 having at least one stationary guide surface, and a movable frame part 6 having at least one movable guide surface adapted to make contact with the stationary guide surface, and located on the table support base side, the stationary and movable frame parts 4, 6 being hollow molded members, and the stationary and movable guide surfaces being defined by inner and outer surface parts 12 to 26, 12' to 26' of the hollow molded members, which are made into contact with each other with slight play.

Bei einer Linear- oder Geradführung (2) für einen höhenverstellbaren Tisch sind ein ortsfestes Gestellteil (4) und ein bewegliches Gestellteil (6) nach Art einer Kulissenführung formschlüssig miteinander in Gleitanlage, wobei das bewegliche Gestellteil (6) mit geringem Spiel in dem als Hohlprofil ausgebildeten ortsfesten Gestellteil (4) geführt ist. Ein mit dieser Linear- oder Geradführung ausgerüsteter höhenverstellbarer Tisch zeichnet sich insbesondere dadurch aus, daß durch einen Stoß ausgelöste horizontale Schwingbewegungen der Tischplatte in Längsrichtung sehr rasch gedämpft werden. <IMAGE> <IMAGE>
