[origin: US5153168A] In order, in a self-duplicating paper product, to block certain areas in their duplicating function, it is suggested that these particular areas of at least one paper surface bearing one of the two reaction components be coated with a barrier layer not permeable to the reaction components, whereby the barrier layer material leaves the reactivity of the reaction components as such essentially unaffected.
