To increase, in an installation unit (10) having an outer frame (11) which is supported on a carrying framework (12) fixed to the bare floor, the static strength of the outer frame (11), a thin-walled metal plate (19), preferably a galvanised steel sheet, is fixed to the outer frame in grooves (26) as a covering element, which is constructed at the same time as a plaster or tile base and for this purpose is provided with slotted bridge holes (23). The marginal bridge portions (25) of the slotted bridge holes (23) engage partly or totally into the grooves (26) in the outer frame (11). As a result, they form, by way of their respective engagement length, clamping portions (25a) in the grooves (26) which, on pushing the metal plate (19) into the grooves (26) of the outer frame (11), are correspondingly deformed. These clamping portions strengthen the clamped connection between the metal plate (19) and the outer frame (11). In addition, the metal plate (19) having the slotted bridge holes (23) reduces to a large extent the escape or the trickling-out of the sound-insulating material, situated inside the outer frame (11), to the outside. <IMAGE>

Um bei einem Installationsblock (10) mit einem Zargenrahmen (11), der sich auf einem am Rohboden befestigten Traggestell (12) abstützt, die statische Festigkeit des Zargenrahmens (11) zu erhöhen, ist an diesem in Falze (26) eine dünnwandige Metallplatte (19), vorzugsweise eine verzinkte Stahlblechtafel als Abdeckelement befestigt, das zugleich als Putz- oder Fliesenträger ausgebildet und zu diesem Zweck mit Schlitzbrückenlochungen (23) versehen ist. Die randseitigen Brückenabschnitte (25) der Schlitzbrückenlochungen (23) greifen teilweise oder ganz in die Falze (26) am Zargenrahmen (11) ein. Sie bilden dabei über ihre jeweilige Eingriffslänge Klemmabschnitte (25a) in den Falzen (26), welche beim Einpressen der Metallplatte (19) in die Falze (26) des Zargenrahmens (11) entsprechend rückverformt werden. Diese Klemmabschnitte verstärken die Klemmverbindung zwischen der Metallplatte (19) und dem Zargenrahmen (11). Außerdem reduziert die Metallplatte (19) mit den Schlitzbrückenlochungen (23) den Austritt bzw. das Ausrieseln des innerhalb des Zargenrahmen (11) befindlichen schalldämmenden Isoliermaterials nach außen in starkem Maß. <IMAGE>
