The one ends of two webs made of flexible material forming the door leaves of a laterally opening roller door are fastened to a vertical sealing profile designed as a closing edge. The other ends of the two door leaves are fastened to two vertical winding shafts which are arranged in the region of a vertical frame member of the door frame. The sealing profile is supported by a slide or carriage which is guided in a guide of the upper frame profile of the door frame. In order, in a simple and light construction, to make possible rapid opening and closing of the roller door, the winding shafts are acted upon by a torsion spring in the winding-up direction of rotation. Between the vertical frame member and the sealing profile, at least one stretching member is arranged, which acts on the sealing profile in the closing direction with a force tightening the door leaves. At least one winding shaft is driven by a geared brake motor.

Die einen Enden zweier die Torblätter eines seitlich öffnenden Rolltores bildenden Bahnen aus flexiblem Material sind an einem vertikalen als Schließkante ausgestalteten Abschlußprofil befestigt. Die anderen Enden der beiden Torblätter sind an zwei vertikalen Wickelwellen befestigt, die im Bereich eines vertikalen Rahmenholmes (3,4) des Torrahmens (2) angeordnet sind. Das Abschlußprofil (14,15) wird von einem Gleitstück oder Wagen getragen, der in einer Führung des oberen Rahmenprofils (5) des Torrahmens (2) geführt ist. Um bei einer einfachen und leichten Konstruktion ein schnelles Öffnen und Schließen des Rolltores zu ermöglichen, sind die Wickelwellen in Aufwickeldrehrichtung von einer Torsionsfeder beaufschlagt. Zwischen dem vertikalen Rahmenholm (3,4) und dem Abschlußprofil (14,15) ist mindestens ein Streckglied (28,29; 30,31) angeordnet, das das Abschlußprofil (14,15) in Schließrichtung mit einer die Torblätter spannenden Kraft beaufschlagt. Mindestens eine Wickelwelle wird von einem Bremsgetriebemotor angetrieben. <IMAGE>
