Abstract (en)
The photoconductor for electrophotography (1) comprises an electroconductive substrate (2) and a photosensitive layer (3) formed on the substrate. The photosensitive layer (3) comprises a charge generating layer (3a) and a charge transporting layer (3b) laminated one on another. The charge generating layer (3a) contains an organic pigment and a polyether ketone represented by general formula (I) below as the binder resin. <CHEM> wherein X is a group selected from the class consisting of: <CHEM> m is 0 or 1; and n is a positive integer. <IMAGE>
