[origin: EP0501885A1] The circuit breaker apparatus comprises at least one circuit breaker device including, in a casing, at least one fixed contact cooperating with a moving contact which can be displaced in a cutout chamber under the action of a trip mechanism (7, 8, 10). The casing (1) comprises a base (11) integral with partitions which delimit a channel (14, 15), constituting the cutout chamber (23, 33), which cooperates with a plug-in closure unit (2, 3) carrying an electrical conductor (4) which links the fixed contact (41 or 51) to a connection terminal (48, 58), the casing (1)/plug-in unit (4) assembly constituting the cutout chamber (23). <??>The invention makes it possible to facilitate the industrialisation of the apparatus whilst enhancing its qualities of insulation and of cutout. <IMAGE>
