Abstract (en)

Hydraulic lash adjuster for a valve drive of an internal combustion engine, comprising two hollow cylinders (1, 2) sealed off relative to one another, which are closed by caps (3, 4) in the region of their ends facing away from one another and are supported on one another in axially resilient fashion by a compression spring (5). In addition to the compression spring (5), the hollow cylinders (1, 2) are supported on one another by a supporting spring (8) having a direction of action opposite to that of the compression spring (5). The supporting spring (8) is composed of a metallic memorious alloy which, upon reaching the As temperature, has a pressure resistance lower than the bearing capacity of the compression spring (5). <IMAGE>

Hydraulisches Spielausgleichselement für einen Ventiltrieb einer Brennkraftmaschine, umfassend zwei gegeneinander abgedichtete Hohlzylinder (1, 2), die im Bereich ihrer voneinander abgewandten Enden durch Deckel (3, 4) verschlossen und durch eine Druckfeder (5) axial elastisch aufeinander abgestützt sind. Die Hohlzylinder (1, 2) sind ergänzend zu der Druckfeder (5) durch eine Stützfeder (8) mit einer der Druckfeder (5) entgegengesetzten Wirkungsrichtung aufeinander abgestützt. Die Stützfeder (8) besteht aus einer metallischen Formgedächtnislegierung, die bei Erreichen der As-Temperatur eine Druckfestigkeit aufweist, die geringer ist als die Tragfähigkeit der Druckfeder (5). <IMAGE>
