[origin: EP0502336A2] A microswitch has an insulating housing (11) and a switch slide (14) which passes through an opening (12) in one wall (13) of the housing (11) such that it can move and slide, with the end region (14'), located inside the housing (11), of which slide contacts (15, 16, 17, 18) are firmly connected which interact with mating contacts (23, 24, 25, 26) which are fixed to the housing and are connected to connecting contacts (19, 20, 21, 22) which are guided to the exterior through a wall (38, 44) of the housing (11). Integrated into the end region (14') of the switch slide (14) is a contact link (27) which extends at right angles to the movement direction of the switch slide (14). The mating contacts (23, 24, 25, 26) which are fixed to the housing and interact with the contact link (27) are in each case constructed on metal strips (28, 29, 30, 31) which are embedded in one and the same insulating spacer (32) and are guided through openings (34, 35, 36, 37) in the housing (11) to the external connecting contacts (19, 20, 21, 22). <IMAGE>
