An end cap (10) for closing the end of a hollow profile bar of windows, doors or the like is provided with clamping projections (12) engaging in the profile bar (11) and has an external periphery (13) axially adjoining the bar profile (11). In order to be able to form the end cap (10) differently externally and internally optically but also in terms of material, it is divided axially into at least two separately manufacturable part pieces (14, 15) which are assembled in a radially fixed manner after their manufacture. <IMAGE>

Eine Endkappe (10) zum Verschließen des Endes eines Hohlprofilstabs (11) von Fenstern, Türen od.dgl. ist mit in den Hohl-profilstab (11) eingreifenden Klemmvorsprüngen (12) versehen und besitzt einen an das Hohlprofilstab (11) axial anschließenden Außenumfang (13). Um die Endkappe (10) außen und innen optisch wie aber auch materialmäßig unterschiedlich gestalten zu können, ist sie axial in mindestens zwei separat herstellbare Teilstücke (14,15) unterteilt, die nach ihrer Herstellung radialfest zusammengebaut sind. <IMAGE>
