[origin: EP0502394A2] A contact configuration consists of two mutually opposite stationary contact pieces (21, 22) and a moving contact piece (11) which is configured on the free and of a contact lever (10) that can rotate about a bearing point (13, 14), and which contact piece (11) can move in a reciprocating manner between the two stationary contact pieces (21, 22). As a result of the suitable configuration of a spring clip (17, 18), a contact force is generated not only when the moving contact piece is resting on a stationary contact piece (21) but also when the moving contact piece (11) is resting on the other stationary contact piece (22). This is produced by the force of the spring clip (17, 18) engaging in the region between the bearing point (13, 14) and the hinge point (19) of an operating bracket (20), and the bearing (13, 14) permitting free mobility of the contact lever (10) in the direction of movement of the moving contact piece (11). <IMAGE>
