Apparatus for bringing thixotropic plastic materials into a state of reduced viscosity, with a mould to receive the material, with a press plunger to feed the material towards an outlet opening and with a sonotrode coupled to an ultrasonic oscillator, in which the following individual parts are provided: - a two-part mould, which comprises a first and a second hollow body (4) and (5), the hollow bodies (4) and (5) connecting together in a flush manner via a flange (6) and each having a front-side opening, - a sonotrode (2), which is closely fitted into the first hollow body (4) so as to be slidable and is coupled to a piezo-oscillator (3) disposed in front of the front-side opening of the first hollow body (4) and - a press plunger (1), which can be displaced in the second hollow body (5), which is provided to receive the material (8) that is to be brought into a state of reduced viscosity, from the front-side opening of this hollow body towards the sonotrode (2) and presses the material (8) in a state of reduced viscosity (9) out of the second hollow body (5) through an outlet opening (7) directly adjacent to the sonotrode (2). <IMAGE>

Vorrichtung zur Überführung von thixotropen plastischen Massen in einen Zustand erniedrigter Viskosität mit einer Matritze zur Aufnahme der Masse, mit einem Preßstempel zum Vorschub der Masse in Richtung auf eine Austrittsöffnung und mit einer, an einen Ultraschallschwinger angekoppelten Sonotrode, wobei folgende Einzelteile vorgesehen sind: eine zweiteilige Matritze, die aus einem ersten und einem zweiten Hohlkörper (4) und (5) besteht, wobei die Hohlkörper (4) und (5) bündig über einen Flansch (6) aneinander anschließen und jeweils eine stirnseitige Öffnung aufweisen, eine Sonotrode (2), die gleitfähig eng in den ersten Hohlkörper (4) eingepaßt ist und an einen, vor der stirnseitigen Öffnung des ersten Hohlkörpers (4) angeordneten Piezoschwinger (3) angekoppelt ist und einen Preßstempel (1), der in den zweiten, zur Aufnahme der in einen Zustand erniedrigter Viskosität zur überführenden Masse (8) vorgesehenen Hohlkörper (5) von der stirnseitigen Öffnung dieses Hohlkörpers in Richtung auf die Sonotrode (2) verschiebbar ist und die Masse (8) im Zustand erniedrigter Viskosität (9) über eine der Sonotrode (2) unmittelbar benachbarte Austrittsöffnung (7) aus dem zweiten Hohlkörper (5) herauspreßt. <IMAGE>
