[origin: EP0502794A1] Furniture, such as an armchair, a chair or a table, comprising: - a subframe (1, 100, 150), consisting of at least three crosspieces formed by articulated struts linked two by two by their extremities; - a support (2, 101, 180), intended for resting on the subframe, characterised in that the free extremities opposite the two tubular struts (15, 24) belonging to two different crosspieces (10, 13), but interacting with each other, are connected to each other by an elastic single-piece sleeve (35) which can be deformed and is slipped over each of these two extremities, so that all the lower sleeves (30-33) form supporting points on the ground, while some of the upper sleeves (35-38) receive the support.
