Abstract (en)
A description is given of a so-called tandem lifter for actuating two poppet valves (2) of an internal combustion engine. Acting on the lifter (5) are either one or two cams (4), to the side of which camshaft bearings (6) are provided. In the base circle phase of the cam(s), the lifter surface itself is part of a camshaft bearing. This spatially compact arrangement of a camshaft bearing gives an extremely stable arrangement with a minimum outlay on construction. <IMAGE>

Beschrieben wird ein sogenannter Tandem-Stößel zur Betätigung zweier Hubventile (2) einer Brennkraftmaschine. Auf den Stößel (5) wirken entweder ein oder zwei Nocken (4) ein, seitlich derer Nockenwellenlager (6) vorgesehen sind. In der Nockengrundkreisphase ist die Stößeloberfläche selbst Bestandteil eines Nockenwellen-Lagers. Diese räumlich enge Anordnung eines Nockenwellen-Lagers ergibt bei geringstem Bauaufwand eine äußerst stabile Anordnung. <IMAGE>
