Abstract (en)
A refractory moulded article, in particular a discharge sleeve of a metallurgical vessel, has at least two non-metallic shells (7, 8), the one enveloping the other at least partially. In order to raise the temperature of the inner shell (7) from the ambient temperature to the vicinity of its operating temperature, at least one of the shells (7, 8) can be heated by induction in an electromagnetic field. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Ein feuerfestes Formteil, insbesondere eine Ausgußhülse eines metallurgischen Gefäßes, weist mindestens zwei sich wenigstens teilweise umhüllende nichtmetallische Schalen (7, 8) auf. Um die innere Schale (7) von der Umgebungstemperatur in die Nähe ihrer Betriebstemperatur zu bringen, ist zumindest eine der Schalen (7, 8) in einem elektromagnetischen Feld induktiv aufheizbar. <IMAGE>
