Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0503276A1] The traction cable (1) for cable cars is attached in a conical sheath (2) which is connected via a bolt (4) to a threaded bolt (5) which is continuously adjustable and is held at the other end in a rocker bearing (7) which is supported on the vehicle body via a spring assembly (8). The rocker bearing (7) and the springs (8) which are constructed as disc springs are covered by a sheath (10) which bears a control bar (11) for the triggering of the slack rope securing element (12). If appropriate, the bolt (4) is constructed as a load measuring bolt so that the vehicle weight can be directly read off at any time and thus can be used as an important safety device for dimensioning the braking force. <IMAGE>
