Es wird eine stabile, stickstoffreiche organische Verbindung in Form des Diguanidinium-5,5'-azotetrazolat der Summenformel C4H12N16, ein Verfahren zu dessen Herstellung und dessen Verwendung in Mischung mit einem pulverförmigen, chemisch stabilen Oxidator als pyrotechnische Mischung zur spontanen Erzeugung umweltverträglicher, ungiftiger Gase beschrieben.
