A base unit for a document shredding machine (1) is described, the frame (2) of which is formed by an approximately perpendicularly arranged rear section (4), an approximately horizontally right-angled upper section (5) as storage surface for the document shredding machine (1) and an approximately horizontally right-angled lower section (6), the frame (2) being smaller in width than the paper collection container which has at its rear open recesses (9) for the sections (4, 5 and 6) of the frame (2) such that the paper collection container (3) which is pushed under the document shredding machine (1) essentially covers the frame (2). As a result, an economical and visually attractive solution is provided. <IMAGE>

Es wird ein Unterbau für einen Schriftgutvernichter (1) beschrieben, dessen Gestell (2) von einem etwa senkrecht angeordneten rückseitigen Abschnitt (4), einem etwa waagerecht abgewinkelten oberen Abschnitt (5) als Abstellfläche für den Schriftgutvernichter (1) und einem etwa waagerecht abgewinkelten unteren Abschnitt (6) gebildet ist, wobei das Gestell (2) eine geringere Breite aufweist als der Papier-Auffangbehälter, der an seiner Rückseite offene Ausnehmungen (9) für die Abschnitte (4, 5 und 6) des Gestells (2) aufweist, derart, daß der unter den Schriftgutvernichter (1) geschobene Papier-Auffangbehälter (3) das Gestell (2) im wesentlichen abdeckt. Hierdurch wird eine kostengünstige und optisch ansprechende Lösung geschaffen. <IMAGE>
