The invention relates to a coaxial cigarette (10) having a coaxial tobacco rod consisting of a core (14) and a rod periphery (18) which contain different mixtures, the wrappings (16, 20) of the rod core and of the rod periphery consisting of combustible material and a filter tip (15) being provided at one end of the coaxial tobacco rod; according to the invention, the ratio between the drawing resistance of the core per unit of length and its packing density is in the region of from about 0.13 to about 0.27 mm water gauge cm<2>/mg, while the ratio of the drawing resistance per unit length of the rod periphery to its packing density is in the region of from about 0.07 to about 0.11 mm water gauge cm<2>/mg; the filter tip is a conventional, preferably ventilated filter. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Koaxialcigarette (10), mit einem koaxialen Tabakstrang aus einem Kern (14) und einer Strangperipherie (18), die unterschiedliche Mischungen enthalten, wobei die Umhüllungen (16,20) des Strangkerns und der Strangperipherie aus brennbarem Material bestehen und an einem Ende des koaxialen Tabakstranges ein Filtermundstück (15) vorgesehen ist; erfindungsgemäß liegt das Verhältnis des Zugwiderstandes des Kerns pro Längeneinheit zu dessen Packungsdichte im Bereich von ca. 0,13 bis ca. 0,27 mm WS cm²/mg, während das Verhältnis des Zugwiderstandes pro Längeneinheit der Strangperipherie zu deren Packungsdichte im Bereich von ca. 0,07 bis ca. 0,11 mm WS cm²/mg liegt; das Filtermundstück ist ein konventioneller, vorzugsweise ventilierter Filter. <IMAGE>
