[origin: EP0503476A1] The present invention is directed to a booklet printer suited for use in a terminal device of a bank, or in a booklet issuing machine. Also disclosed is a booklet handling apparatus in such a printer. In such an apparatus, it is required to turn over pages of a booklet (41) accurately at high speeds by means of a simple construction. In the present invention, a twistingly-curved portion (5b) disposed obliquely relative to a direction (A) of transfer of the booklet is provided at a booklet transfer passage. A page (41a) to be turned over by a page-turning roller (7) is caused to strike against this twistingly-curved portion (5b), thereby satisfying the above requirement. <IMAGE>
