Abstract (en)
The present invention relates to a process for differentiating between two similar articles as well as to an article marked according to such a process. The process for marking two similar articles made from identical blanks by machining different parts according to the article to be obtained consists in adding onto each article a specific marking, and is characterised in that each blank (1) undergoes the addition of two specific markings (4G, 4D) with the marking corresponding to one of the two articles, situated in the location of the part to machine so as to produce the other article, following which one of the two parts is machined to leave on the article thus obtained the marking (4G or 4D) corresponding to that article alone. The invention applies to the differentiation and mounting of articles, for example for manufacturing motor vehicles. <IMAGE>

La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé de différenciation de deux pièces ressemblantes ainsi qu'à une pièce repérée suivant un tel procédé. Le procédé de repérage de deux pièces ressemblantes réalisé à partir d'ébauches brutes identiques par usinage de parties différentes selon la pièce à obtenir consiste à apposer sur chaque pièce un marquage spécifique, et est caractérisé en ce que chaque ébauche (1) subit l'apposition de deux marquages spécifiques (4G, 4D) avec le marquage correspondant à l'une des deux pièces, situé à l'emplacement de la partie à usiner pour la réalisation de l'autre pièce, suite à quoi l'une des deux parties est usinée pour laisser sur la pièce ainsi obtenue le marquage (4G ou 4D) correspondant à cette pièce seulement. L'invention s'applique à la différenciation et au montage de pièces, par exemple pour la fabrication de véhicules automobiles. <IMAGE>
