[origin: EP0504050A1] The invention relates to an applicator for a solidified product, comprising a hollow body (1) and a removable cap (2) forming a case intended to accommodate the said product, and a to-and-fro translational drive mechanism for causing the said product to emerge and retract. <??>The applicator according to the invention is noteworthy in that the mechanism comprises a support base (6) for the product, mounted movably in the body (1) and equipped with an extension (6'') which extends opposite the product and which is intended to come into engagement with a guide piece (9) integral with a cursor (7) via a linking tab (10) which traverses the body, the said cursor (7) being provided in a movable manner outside the said body so that the actuation of the cursor gives rise to an equivalent translational movement of the base and thus of the product. <IMAGE>
