This lighter is of the type comprising, in a body (2), a reservoir (3a, 3b) for gaseous fuel stored in the liquid phase, a pressure reducer/evaporator and a burner/valve (4) which is controlled by a lever (5) articulated on a pin (6) at right angles to that (4a) of the burner/valve (4), the front end (5a) of which, which is normally applied against a shoulder (4c) of the burner/valve (4), tends constantly to keep the valve (4) in a closed position, and the rear operation end (5b) of which is constantly subjected to the action of a spring means (8) which tends to make it pivot in the direction (9) of the closure of the valve (4), in which, in addition to the first spring means (8), there is provided a second elastic means (11, 12, 16, 18) which is interposed between the first (8) and the valve (4) and intended to act on the valve (4), in series and in the same direction as the first (8), with a force which is smaller than that of the first elastic means (8) but greater than that which is generated by the pressure of the gas and tends to open the valve (4), and in which the second elastic means is constituted by the control lever (5) which is shaped so as to have an elastically deformable section (16, 18) between its front end (5a) and its rear operation end (5b). The control lever (5) consists of two consecutive segments (5a, 5b) connected to one another by a bridge made of elastically flexible material (18), which serves as an elastic hinge, with a stop to limit the flexion of this bridge (18) when the control lever (5) is in the position in which it keeps the burner/valve (4) closed. <IMAGE>

Ce briquet est du type comprenant, dans un corps (2), un réservoir (3a,3b) de combustible gazeux, stocké en phase liquide, un réducteur de pression-évaporateur et un brûleur-soupape (4) commandé par un levier (5) articulé sur un axe (6) orthogonal à celui (4a) du brûleur-soupape (4), dont l'extrémité antérieure (5a) normalement appliquée contre un épaulement (4c) du brûleur-soupape (4), tend constamment à maintenir la soupape (4) en position de fermeture, et dont l'extrémité postérieure d'actionnement (5b), est constamment soumise à l'action d'un moyen à ressort (8) qui tend à le faire pivoter dans le sens (9) de la fermeture de la soupape (4), dans lequel, en plus du premier moyen à ressort (8), il est prévu un second moyen élastique (11, 12, 16, 18), interposé entre le premier (8) et la soupape (4), destiné à agir sur la soupape (4), en série et dans le même sens que le premier (8), avec une force inférieure à celle du premier moyen élastique (8) mais supérieure à celle engendrée par la pression du gaz et tendant à ouvrir la soupape (4), et dans leuqel le second moyen élastique est constitué par le levier de commande (5) conformé de manière à présenter une section déformable élastiquement (16,18), entre son extrémité antérieure (5a) et son extrémité postérieure d'actionnement (5b). Le levier de commande (5) est composé de deux segments consécutifs (5a,5b) liés l'un à l'autre par un pont de matière élastiquement flexible (18), faisant office de charnière élastique, avec butée de limitation de la flexion de ce pont (18), lorsque le levier de commande (5) est en position de maintien de fermeture du brûleur-soupape (4). <IMAGE>
