The invention relates to an end piece intended to secure the ends of the wooden slats belonging to a slatted bed underframe which is formed by a recess open on one of its sides and having an upper face, a bottom and three lateral faces, characterised by a), on the inside of the end face, at least one hook which fits into a notch at the end of the slat, b) at least one protrusion, with a widened head which projects under the bottom, which can be pushed tightly into the corresponding passage provided in a support profiled section perforated for this purpose. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne un embout destiné à assujettir les extrémités des lattes de bois appartenant à un sommier à lattes qui est formé par un logement ouvert sur un de ses côtés et présentant une face supérieure, un fond et trois faces latérales, caractérisé par a) à l'intérieur de l'embout au moins un crochet qui saute dans une encoche de l'extrémité dela latte, b) au moins une protubérence, à tête élargie qui fait saillie sous le fond, qui peut être enfoncée étroitement dans le passage correspondant ménagé dans un profilé de support perforé à cet effet. <IMAGE>
