Abstract (en)
The dial (2) is illuminated by a cylindrical bulb (12), the upper part of which is housed in a slot (14) cut into a ring (15), made of artificial glass, forming a diffuser and situated on the periphery of the space situated between the dial (2) and the glass (8) of the case. The outer surfaces of the ring (15) are dull whereas its inner surface (23), like the surface of the slot (14), is mirror polished, thus improving the diffusing of the light. The bulb (12) is powered by a cell (21) fixed to the inside of the back (10) of the case and to which it is fixed by a ring (22) having radial arms (22a) bearing against it, this ring being notched to an annular rib (10a) on the inside of the back (10). <IMAGE>

Le cadran (2) est éclairé par une ampoule (12) cylindrique, dont la partie supérieure est logée dans une encoche (14) ménagée dans une bague (15), en verre artificiel, formant diffuseur, située à la périphérie de l'espace situé entre le cadran (2) et la glace (8) de la boîte. Les faces extérieures de la bague (15) sont mates alors que sa face intérieure (23) de même que la face de l'encoche (14) sont polies-miroir, ce qui améliore la diffusion de la lumière. L'ampoule (12) est alimentée par une pile (21) fixée à l'intérieur du fond (10) de la boîte auquel elle est fixée par une bague (22) présentant des bras radiaux (22a) prenant appui sur elle, cette bague étant accrochée à cran à une nervure annulaire (10a) que présente intérieurement le fond (10). <IMAGE>
