The invention relates to a stepstool with legs (12, 14) which can be interconnected by means of a bow (38) and on which support struts (16, 18) and at least two steps (32, 34) are articulated. Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Tritthocker mit mittels eines Bügels (38) verbindbaren Schenkeln (12,14), an denen Stützholme (16,18) sowie mindestens zwei Trittstufen (32,34) angelenkt sind. Die oberste, zwischen einer wirksamen und einer unwirksamen Stellung, in der sie mit den Schenkeln (12,14) etwa parallel verläuft, verschwenkbare Trittstufe (34) trägt einen Griff (36), dessen Abstand zum Bügel (38) geringer ist als die Armlänge des Benutzers. <IMAGE>
