[origin: EP0504550A1] A mixing chamber for flow mixers is provided with one inlet (4, 5) each for two part streams (7, 8) and an outlet (6) for a main stream (9). In the mixing chamber, hollow bodies (10) are arranged as an insertion, spaced apart, at mutual distances in a plurality of rows behind and next to one another. The hollow bodies (10) penetrate one part stream (8) and protrude freely into one inlet (4), dividing a part of the part stream (7) fed through this inlet (4) into individual jets of different length. <IMAGE>
