Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0505269A1] In order to transfer products from a contaminated vessel (12) to a second vessel (16) without contaminating the latter, it is proposed to bring alongside the contaminated vessel a transport container (20) in which an empty transfer pot (22) is placed. After removal of the adjoining gates (C, F, H) of the contaminated vessel, of the container and of the transfer pot, the products to be transferred are introduced into the latter without the space surrounding the pot inside the container being in communication with the vessel. The adjoining gates (C, F, H) are then closed again and the container (20) is disconnected in order to be transported and brought alongside the second vessel (16). The adjoining gates (B' C', F) of this second vessel and of the container (20) are then opened in order to introduce the transfer pot (22) containing the products into the second vessel. <IMAGE>
