[origin: EP0505682A1] In an electrical push-button switch, the contact rocker (5) consists of plastic and has a hole (7) which is offset parallel to the pivoting axis (5'). The contact shaft (8) is held in this hole (7), preferably with a small amount of play. Thus, if the contact shaft strikes against the contact points (9 and 11 respectively) in the respective tilted position, a small rotary movement of the contact shaft (8) about the longitudinal axis can take place. In consequence, the wear surface of the contact shaft (8) is expanded onto the complete circumference in the contact region, which leads to a very long life of this part and hence to a long life of the switch. Furthermore advantageous is the production of the push-button switch, which, as a result of this arrangement, can be carried out economically, in particular fully automatically. <IMAGE>
