Ignition electrodes which are subjected to atmospheres containing soot are equipped with an insulator (20, 16) which can be heated. In order to regulate the heating power, a method is proposed in which the temperature on the heating winding (20) is measured at regular intervals by means of resistance-temperature-measuring methods (28), and the voltage supply to the winding is regulated in a corresponding manner. <IMAGE>

Rußatmosphären ausgesetzte Zündelektroden werden mit einem beheizbaren Isolator (20, 16) ausgestattet. Zur Regelung der Heizleistung wird ein Verfahren vorgeschlagen, bei dem mittels widerstandstemperatur-Meßmethoden (28) die Temperatur an der Heizwicklung (20) in regelmäßigen Abständen gemessen und die Spannungszufuhr zur Wicklung entsprechend geregelt wird. <IMAGE>
