An automobile parking facility (PH) possesses a plurality of rows (BR, BR1) of parking boxes (B) which are arranged next to one another and above one another in a plurality of storeys and to which the automobiles to be parked are automatically conveyed to the individual boxes via lifting mechanisms (G, P, PL and G1, P1, PL1) movable linearly on rails (S, S1). In this arrangement, the lifting mechanisms consist of a base frame (G and G1) carrying the running wheels (R) and having a respective portal (P and P1) mounted thereon, a respective stage or platform (PL and PL1) liftable and lowerable by motor and intended for receiving and transporting the automobile pallets (F-FN) being arranged on said portal, which stage or platform is capable of moving telescopically beyond the free end (G') of the respective portal (P and P1) as far as the plane of the storage or buffer zone (PZ, PZ'). <IMAGE>

Ein Parkhaus ( PH ) für Kraftfahrzeuge, besitzt mehrere Reihen ( BR, BR1 ) von Abstellboxen ( B ), die nebeneinander sowie in mehreren Etagen übereinander angeordnet sind und zu welchen die zu parkenden Kraftfahrzeuge über linear auf Schienen ( S, S1 ) verfahrbare Hubwerke ( G, P, PL und G1, P1, PL1 ) selbsttätig zu den einzelnen Boxen befördert werden. Die Hubwerke bestehen dabei aus einem die Laufräder ( R ) tragenden Grundrahmen ( G bzw. G1 ) mit darauf aufgesetztem Portal ( P bzw. P1 ), wobei an letzterem eine motorisch heb- und senkbare Bühne oder Plattform ( PL bzw. PL1 ) für die Aufnahme und den Transport der Fahrzeugpaletten ( F-FN ) angeordnet ist, die teleskopartig über das freie Ende ( G' ) des jeweiligen Portals ( P bzw. P1 ) hinaus bis auf die Ebene der Speicher- bzw. Pufferzone ( PZ, PZ' ) verfahrbar ist. <IMAGE>
