A device for controlling the centralized closure of the doors of a motor vehicle,including means for automatically unlocking the doors as the motor vehicle is involved in an accident,comprises a central control unit which drives a door locking module and an electronic circuit which,under normal conditions,allows the doors to be locked and released in a conventional manner,whereas, as an accident occurs,it automatically releases the locking of the doors. <IMAGE>
