[origin: US5307572A] An ironing machine with a computer-assisted control device for the advancing pressure and the pressing time between an upper and a lower shaping board (10, 16) which are movable relative to one another both vertically and horizontally, the ironing machine has a differential-pressure regulating device (1 to 6, 11) which, during the computer-controlled application of pressure to the article to be ironed, takes into account the dead weight of the movable shaping board, as a rule the upper shaping board (10). A substantially higher ironing quality, especially where sensitive textiles are concerned, can be achieved by the invention, because the ironing pressure can be preselected reproducibly within very fine steps.

Für eine Bügelmaschine mit rechnergestützter Steuereinrichtung für den Zustelldruck bzw. die Preßzeit zwischen einer oberen und einer unteren Formplatte (10, 16), die relativ zueinander sowohl vertikal als auch horizontal verfahrbar sind, wird mit der Erfindung eine Differenzdruckregeleinrichtung (1 bis 6, 11) vorgeschlagen, die bei der rechnergesteuerten Druckbeaufschlagung des Bügelguts das Eigengewicht der verfahrbaren Formplatte, in der Regel der oberen Formplatte (10) berücksichtigt. Mit der Erfindung ist eine wesentlich höhere Bügelqualität, insbesondere bei empfindlichen Textilien, erreichbar, weil der Bügeldruck reproduzierbar innerhalb sehr feiner Abstufungen vorgewählt werden kann.
