[origin: EP0507730A1] The apparatus has a feedwater quantity measuring member (10, 10'), a controller (23) with an integrator (24) and a regulating member (8) for the feedwater quantity as well as a temperature measuring member (18) arranged in the superheating region. The controller (23) is supplied with a set value (21) for the temperature as well as the actual value therefor. The apparatus also has a device (31) which works in the manner of an observer, contains a number of delay members (33, 34, 35) connected in series and is connected at a first input to the output of the feedwater quantity measuring member (10, 10') and at a second input to the output of the temperature measuring member (18). The outputs (39, 40, 41) of this device (31) are connected to an addition point (26) connected downstream of the output of the integrator (24). There is furthermore arranged between the addition point (26) and the output of the controller (23) a multiplication member (27), which is supplied with a signal (y) coming from a function generator (51) in addition to the signal coming from the addition point (26). Connected between the first input of the device (31) and the first delay member (33) is an inverse division member (32) which is supplied with the signal (y) delivered by the function generator (51) in addition to the signal coming from the feedwater quantity measuring member (10, 10').
