[origin: US5312058A] In winding machine for material webs (4), particularly paper or cardboard webs, it is known to provide devices for severing the material web (4) on the bearing or support cylinder (1), which have a cutting element applicable to the web (4) in a wrapped area of the bearing or support cylinder (1) and movable across the running direction of the web. In order to achieve through a simple construction a safe severing of the web (4) during roll exchange, according to the invention a freely rotatably supported wheel (19) having a sharp peripheral edge which can be resiliently pressed against the bearing or support cylinder (1) is used as a cutting element.

Dans des bobineuses pour bandes de matières (4), en particulier bandes de papier ou de carton, on connaît des dispositifs pour le sectionnement des bandes de matière (4) sur le cylindre porteur ou de soutien (1), lesquels présentent un élément de séparation mobile transversalement par rapport au sens du déroulement de la bande et pouvant être posé sur la bande (4) dans la zone où cette dernière entoure le cylindre porteur ou de soutien (1). Afin de permettre un sectionnement fiable de la bande (4) lors du changement des bobines, tout en ayant une construction simple, on utilise, selon l'invention, comme élément de séparation, une roue (19) tournant librement et présentant sur sa circonférence une arête tranchante et applicable élastiquement contre le cylindre porteur ou de soutien (1).
