Folding cartons are known which are preferably used as packaging containers for bars of chocolate and can be bent for better removal of the bars of chocolate in such a way that a roof-shaped stand is produced. In order to maintain this assumed shape during use of the folding carton, that is to say to guarantee retention of the two halves of the folding carton standing at an acute angle relative to each other, a metal foil is provided which is bonded to the two halves of the folding carton, partially covering the latter in the region of the crease. The application of this metal foil is relatively awkward and expensive. However, disposal of the folding carton is also problematic since said carton, otherwise consisting of cardboard, cannot be recycled. In contrast, the novel folding carton is intended to be able to be produced more economically and further processed without problems. <??>For this purpose, a tab (4) is provided which can be bent in parallel to the crease (9) and connected to the back (2). On at least one side running transversely to the crease (9), the tab (4) has a catch device (7) corresponding to the back (2). <??>The retaining part is now a constituent of the folding carton and can be incorporated simultaneously when the folding carton blank is punched out.

Es sind Faltschachteln bekannt, die vorzugsweise als Verpackungsbehältnisse für Schokoladenriegel Verwendung finden und die zur besseren Entnahme der Schokoladenriegel so knickbar sind, daß ein spitzdachförmiger Aufsteller entsteht. Um diese eingenommene Form während des Gebrauchs der Faltschachtel zu behalten, also um eine Arretierung der beiden spitzwinklig zueinander stehenden Faltschachtelhälften zu gewährleisten, ist eine Metallfolie vorgesehen, die auf die beiden Faltschachtelhälften, diese teilweise überdeckend im Bereich der Knickfalte aufgeklebt ist. Das Aufbringen dieser Metallfolie ist relativ umständlich und teuer. Aber auch die Entsorgung der Faltschachtel ist problematisch, da diese im übrigen aus einem Karton bestehend nicht in einen Rohstoffkreislauf zurückgeführt werden kann. Die neue Faltschachtel hingegeben soll wirtschaftlicher herstellbar und problemlos weiterverwertbar sein. Dazu ist eine Lasche (4) vorgesehen, die parallel zur Knickfalte (9) einknickbar und mit der Rückseite (2) verbindbar ist. Die Lasche (4) weist an mindestens einer, quer zur Knickfalte (9) verlaufenden Seite ein mit der Rückseite (2) korrespondierendes Rastmittel (7) auf. Das Arretierungsteil ist nun Bestandteil der Faltschachtel und kann beim Ausstanzen des Faltschachtelzuschnitts gleich miteingebracht werden.
