[origin: EP0508142A2] In a lamp which has a retaining ring (11) and a rotating ring (14) rotatable therein, a stop device (20) is provided to facilitate a complete 360 DEG rotation of the rotating ring (14). Said device consists of a fixed end stop (23) on one of the rings, and a moveable stop part (28) on the other ring. The stop part (28) is pivoted during a rotation of the rotating ring (14) in such a way that it bridges the end stop (23). The stop device (20) prevents incessant rotation of the rotating ring (14), but nevertheless facilitates a rotation by a complete 360 DEG . <IMAGE>
