[origin: EP0508270A2] The invention relates to a back pack with at least one partition (6) dividing the volume of the back pack into an upper main compartment (3) and a lower compartment (5), there being an access (2 or 9) in each case to the main compartment (3) and to the lower compartment (5). The partition (6) slopes in such a way that an acute angle (13) opening upwards is formed between the rear wall (12) of the back pack and the partition (6). It is thus achieved that the centre of gravity of the filled back pack is located more favourably than is the case in comparable back packs of the prior art. <IMAGE>
