Abstract (en)

The circuit breaker includes a first unit (11) including a first terminal with its bimetallic strip, a support piece and a first fixed contact, which unit is fitted into a casing half-casting (1), a second unit (12) including the second fixed contact, the electromagnetic circuit-breaker coil and the second terminal, it being possible for the second unit to be assembled, like the arc-extinction chambers and their metal laminations, onto a middle insulating wall (23) to form a unit (35) which is subsequently fitted into the half-casting prior to fitting a mechanism unit (36), after which the casing is closed up by fitting a second half-casting. <IMAGE>
