Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a communal letter box with means for complete opening in which the lock (14) is secured on the front wall (15) of an upright (7a) of the fixed frame, by fastening means (23) accessible from the rear face of the upright (7a). In order to protect the lock against any intrusion, through the mail compartment adjoining the lock (14), a dismantleable mask is provided, which is fastened to the said upright (7a) by fastening means only accessible when the communal door (9) is open. <IMAGE>
