Bei einem längsgeschlitzten Druckmittelzylinder wird vorgeschlagen, das zur Abdichtung an der Innenseite mit Hilfe von Magneten festgelegte Stahlband 4 mit einer Kunststoffumspritzung 10 zu versehen, die auf der Außenseite des Stahlbandes 4 einen Kunststoffstreifen 7 bildet, der das Stahlband 4 bezüglich des Längsschlitzes 3 zentriert. <IMAGE>
