Abstract (en)
A feed mechanism for a cutting machine for cutting edible products consists of a claw which digs into the product on the rear face of the product to be cut, the claw being driven intermittently or continuously in the feed direction and guiding the product on a roller conveyor towards a cutting device, so that slices are cut off the product. To improve the guidance of the product and to avoid uneven slices, in particular with long products of soft consistency, provision is made for a further non-positive and positive drive for the product to be provided, coupled to the drive of the claw at the front end of the product in the vicinity of the circular cutter of the cutting device, which further drive consists of at least one feed roll which engages non-positively and positively on the underside of the product and is driven in rotation in dependence on the feed path of the claw. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Ein Vorschubantrieb für eine Schneidemaschine zum Schneiden von Lebensmittelprodukten (1) besteht aus einer Kralle (11), die an der rückwärtigen Stirnseite des zu schneidenden Produktes (1) sich in das Produkt eingräbt, wobei die Kralle (11) in Vorschubrichtung intermittierend oder kontinuierlich angetrieben wird und das Produkt (1) auf einer Rollenbahn (2) gegen eine Schneideeinrichtung führt, so daß vom Produkt Scheiben abgeschnitten werden. Zur besseren Führung des Produkts und zur Vermeidung von ungleichmässigen Scheiben, insbesondere bei langen Produkten mit weicher Konsistenz ist vorgesehen, daß gekoppelt mit dem Antrieb der Kralle am vorderen Ende des Produkts in der Nähe des Kreismessers (4) der Schneideeinrichtung ein weiterer kraft- und formschlüssiger Antrieb für das Produkt vorgesehen ist, welcher aus mindestens einer Vorschubwalze (33) besteht, die kraft- und formschlüssig an der Unterseite des Produkts angreift und welche in Abhängigkeit von dem Vorschubweg der Kralle (11) drehend angetrieben wird. <IMAGE>
