[origin: EP0509898A1] The invention relates to a system consisting of a hydraulic motor (8-1A-1B) and of a brake which is coupled thereto, including in particular a brake shaft (37), which passes completely through the said motor and brake. According to the invention, the brake shaft (37) comprises an axial hollow (40) running through it, enabling a connection, such as a motion-transmitting shaft (81), to be passed through.
