[origin: EP0509901A1] The invention relates to rotating anode X-ray tubes. <??>The invention lies in the fact that the shielding of the stator is obtained by a first conductive layer (36) which is deposited on the external wall of an insulating bell-mouth (31) and which exhibits an electrical discontinuity (37) and by a second conductive layer (38) which is deposited on the internal wall of an insulating section 25, the bell-mouth and the section enveloping the stator 18 and thus creating an electrostatic shield against the high-frequency oscillations which result from the ''crackling'' of the tube. <??>The invention is applicable to tubes for radiology instruments. <IMAGE>
