2.1 Adjustment operations on rotating elements, such as folding and collating cylinders, are usually carried out manually since a fine adjustment is not possible at all or only using complicated solutions. Furthermore, known adjustment devices, in particular the associated gearings, have the disadvantage of being very prone to malfunction due to the paper dust forming during the printing operation. <??>2.2 The adjustment device (3) according to the invention has an air piston (4), a clutch (5), a feed element (6) and an adjusting drive (7). The air piston (4) forms a connection in a controllable manner between the adjusting drive (7) and the rotating element (2) to be adjusted and interrupts this connection for the duration of the adjustment-free time. <??>2.3 The invention can be applied to all adjustable rotating elements of rotary printing machines. <IMAGE>

2.1. Justagearbeiten an rotierenden Elementen, wie zum Beispiel an Falz- und Sammelzylindern, werden meist manuell ausgeführt, da eine Fernverstellung überhaupt nicht oder nur mit komplizierten Lösungen möglich ist. Ferner weisen bekannte Einstellvorrichtungen, insbesondere die zugehörigen Getriebe, den Nachteil auf, durch den sich während des Druckvorgangs bildenden Papierstaub sehr störanfällig zu sein. 2.2. Die erfindungsgemäße Einstellvorrichtung (3) weist einen Luftkolben (4), eine Kupplung (5), ein Vorschubelement (6) und einen Stellantrieb (7) auf. Der Luftkolben (4) stellt in steuerbarer Weise eine Verbindung zwischen dem Stellantrieb (7) und dem zu verstellenden rotierenden Element (2) her und unterbricht diese Verbindung für die Dauer der verstellfreien Zeit. 2.3. Die Erfindung ist auf alle einstellbaren rotierenden Elemente von Rotationsdruckmaschinen anwendbar. <IMAGE>
