Abstract (en)
A novel paddle wheel, especially a scooping wheel, for hot pasty or solidifying liquids such as, for example, aluminium dross or slag, is disclosed, the paddle wheel being formed with a scooping part 1 and an agitator part 2, the two parts being arranged with a mutual offset of about 180 DEG , and their acting surfaces mutually overlapping in the liquid bath 3. The parts of the scooping part or agitator part dipping into the liquid have, at the point of immersion, edges having a breast angle greater than 90 DEG and a clearance angle greater than 0 DEG . The edges are arranged in such a way that they make a drawing cut away from the end faces when dipping into the liquid. <IMAGE>

Es wird ein neuartiges Schaufelrad, insbesondere Schöpfrad, für heiße breiartige bzw. erstarrende Flüssigkeiten, wie z.B. Aluminiumkrätze oder Schlacke, geoffenbart, wobei das Schaufelrad mit einem Schöpfteil 1 und einem Rührteil 2 ausgebildet ist, deren beide Teile um etwa 180° voneinander getrennt angeordnet sind, und deren Wirkungsflächen einander im Flüssigkeitsbad 3 überlappen. Die in die Flüssigkeit eintauchenden Teile des Schöpfteiles bzw. Rührteiles weisen an der Eintauchstelle Schneiden auf, deren Brustwinkel größer als 90° und deren Freiwinkel größer als 0° ist. Die Schneiden sind so angeordnet, daß sie einen ziehenden Schnitt weg von den Stirnflächen beim Eintauchen in die Flüssigkeit aufweisen. <IMAGE>
