The invention describes a device (1) for transporting shopping items, luggage and the like in self-service stores, at railway stations or airports, the device (1) having at least one moving pavement (2) for the conveyance of passengers, and a number of transport trolleys suitable (23) for the moving pavement and a number of transport trolleys unsuitable (24) for the moving pavement being provided which are placed at the disposal of the customers or passengers for transporting the shopping items or the luggage, and the transport trolleys (23) suitable for the moving pavement being able to travel on the at least one moving pavement (2). In order to prevent transport trolleys (24) unsuitable for the moving pavement (2) from travelling on the same, a narrow point (7, 7') is provided at the access (6) to the moving pavement (2), which narrow point (7, 7') can be passed only by persons and transport trolleys (23) suitable for the moving pavement.

Die Erfindung beschreibt eine Einrichtung (1) zum Transportieren von Einkaufsgut, Gepäck und dergleichen in SB-Geschäften, auf Bahnhöfen oder Flughäfen, wobei die Einrichtung (1) wenigstens einen Fahrsteig (2) zur Personenbeförderung aufweist und bei der eine Anzahl fahrsteigtauglicher (23) und eine Anzahl fahrsteiguntauglicher Transportwagen (24) vorgesehen sind, die den Kunden oder Reisenden zum Transportieren des Einkaufsgutes oder des Gepäcks zur Verfügung gestellt werden und wobei der wenigstens eine Fahrsteig (2) mit den fahrsteigtauglichen Transportwagen (23) befahrbar ist. Um zu vermeiden, daß der Fahrsteig (2) mit fahrsteiguntauglichen Transportwagen (24) befahren wird, ist am Zugang (6) zum Fahrsteig (2) eine Verengung (7,7') vorgesehen, die nur von Personen und fahrsteigtauglichen Transportwagen (23) passierbar ist. <IMAGE>
