[origin: EP0511131A1] Method of preparation of metal reference samples for spectrographic analysis. <??>The method consists in producing a substantially cylindrical preform by spraying/deposition, in then consolidating this blank in the form of a bar of appropriate diameter and, finally, in cutting the reference samples from it. <??>This method, when compared with those of the prior art, offers the advantages of an improved chemical homogeneity and of low oxygen contents.
