[origin: WO9110718A1] Anti-froth, powdered or liquid cleaning agents based on nonionic tensides, carboxylic acids, anionic tensides and possibly builder substances, characterized in that they contain a combination of the following constituents: (a) at least one alkyl ethoxylate of general formula (I): R<1>-O-(CH2CH2O)n-H where R<1> is a linear or branched alkyl residue with 6 to 9 carbon atoms and n is a number between 3 and 10, (b) at least one monocarboxylic acid or its water-soluble salts of general formula (II): R<2>-COOH where R<2> is a linear or branched alkyl residue with 5 to 11 carbon atoms, (c) at least one anionic tenside, chosen from the group (c1) alkyl sulphates of general formula (III): R<3>-O-SO3Me, (c2) alkyl polyglycol ether sulphates of general formula (IV): R<4>-O-(CH2CH2O)m-SO3Me, (c3) alkyl aryl sulphonates of general formula (V): R<5>-SO3-Me, where R<3> and R<4> independently stand for a linear or branched alkyl residue with 10 to 18 carbon atoms, m is a number between 1 and 6, R<5> is an alkyl benzene residue with 7 to 9 carbon atoms and Me is an alkali metal atom, where the sum of the contents of the cleaning agent in the above-mentioned constituents (a), (b) and (c) is equal to 1.5 to 15 wt.% and the weight ratio of a to b lies in the range 3:1 to 1:6 and the weight ratio of (a +b):c lies in the range 3:1 to 1:3, (d) 0 to 98.5 wt.% of at least one organic or inorganic builder substance, chosen from the group of the oligo- and polycarboxylic acids or their water-soluble salts and the alkali metal phosphates, silicates, borates, carbonates and hydroxides, (e) up to 100 wt.% of powdered or liquid adjuvants or adjusting agents.
