Elektrisches Steckergehäuse mit einer Findungseinrichtung für ein in eine Kontaktkammer mit vorgeordneter Dichtungskammer zu steckendes, gecrimptes elektrisches Kontaktelement mit einem Dichtungsstopfen, wobei die Dichtungskammer einen runden und die Kontaktkammer einen rechteckigen Querschnitt aufweist und das Kontaktelement vorderendig in zwei parallel zueinander ausgerichteten Kanten ausläuft, wobei die Findungseinrichtung (14) besteht aus: (a) Einer in Steckachsrichtung vorgeordneten Vorfindungseinrichtung in Form von zwei paarweise sich in der Dichtungskammer (10) radial gegenüberliegend angeordneten Querschnittsverengungen (17) kreissegmentförmigen Querschnitts, die jeweils mit einer Einlaufschräge (16) versehen sind; und (b) zwei sich in der Dichtungskammer (10) paarweise gegenüberliegenden, in Steckachsrichtung der Vorfindungseinrichtung nachgeordneten Einlaufschrägen (19) aufweisenden Querschnittsverengungen (18) ebenfalls kreissegmentförmigen Querschnitts, die am Umfang der Wandung der Dichtungskammer (10) um 90° versetzt zu den Querschnittsverengungen (17) angeordnet sind. <IMAGE>
