[origin: EP0511510A2] Electrical plug housing having an alignment device for a crimped electrical contact element which can be inserted into a contact chamber with a sealing chamber arranged in front of it and has a sealing plug, the sealing chamber having a round cross-section and the contact chamber having a rectangular cross-section, and the contact element ending at the front end in two edges which are aligned parallel to one another, the alignment device (14) consisting of:   (a) an initial alignment device, which is arranged in front in the plug axis direction, in the form of two cross-sectional constrictions (17) which are arranged radially opposite in pairs in the sealing chamber (10), have a cross-section in the form of circular segments and are in each case provided with an insertion incline (16); and   (b) two cross-sectional constrictions (18) which are opposite one another in pairs in the sealing chamber (10) and have insertion inclines (19) arranged after the initial alignment device in the plug axis direction, likewise have a cross-section in the form of circular segments, and are arranged on the circumference of the wall of the sealing chamber (10), offset through 90 DEG with respect to the cross-sectional constrictions (17). <IMAGE>
